Our Policy
ANYTHING MISSING/DAMAGED
There’ll be a fee of $55-$700+ depending on the missing/damaged items.
PICNIC RESCHEDULING:
Luxury Picnic Chicago offers six (6) month’s to reschedule from the original booked date.
In case of rescheduling a picnic the guest must contact us 2 weeks prior to the date interested in booking. The picnic will be booked ONLY if there is availability on that date.
LAST MINUTE BOOKING:
Booking must be done Minimum 4 days in advance, anything after will result in a last minute $50 fee.
Same day booking will result of $100 fee.
CANCELLATION OR REFUND POLICY:
Luxury Picnic Chicago DOES NOT offer refunds for any type of booking cancellations. If the guest does not wish to cancel we will credit the picnic with a reschedule date.
In case of cancellation, the guest will need to contact Luxury Picnic Chicago at least 48 hours prior to their booking.
There will be penalties if guests cancel a day before or the day of the picnic. Please get in touch with us soon as possible.
If Luxury Picnic Chicago needs to cancel due to accident or personal purposes we take full responsibility and will refund the full amount within 3-7 business days.
WEATHER RELATED RESCHEDULING:
In the event of inclement weather (rain, severe storm, snow, severe temperatures, or catastrophic events) the picnic will be rescheduled or changed to an indoor location provided by the guest (client).
The weather will be monitored a week prior to the booked date and we will determine if the picnic will need to be rescheduled or changed to indoors 48 hours prior to the booked date.
Luxury Picnic Chicago will contact guest or guests can contact us for rescheduling due to weather related issues.
Weather related rescheduling, the guest will need to contact Luxury Picnic Chicago at least 48 hours prior to their booking.
If Luxury Picnic Chicago highly advises to reschedule picnic due to rain or bad weather and the client does not want to reschedule, the client will have full liability of paying the value of the rented setup. We will ask the client to make the payment of the full setup value before their scheduled picnic. This amount will be refunded if the setup does not get damaged due to bad weather. The full value amount of the setups IS NOT the same as the REFUNDABLE BOND.
LOCATION CHANGE:
Luxury Picnic Chicago will NOT allow any location changes unless agreed upon due to weather related issues.
TRAVEL FEE:
Luxury Picnic Chicago charges a long distance fee based on the location given by the guest (client). The fee will depend on the total mileage starting from our location (Chicago, IL).
PICNIC ETIQUETTE:
There is NO SMOKING on the picnic setup or inside the all-weather globe.
SANITATION AND DISINFECTION
Due to Covid-19 and for your comfort and security, we will be sanitizing and disinfecting every single item used in the picnic before and after your booking.
PARK PERMITS:
Luxury Picnic Chicago is not responsible for obtaining any type of park permit.
Depending on the location and other factors, guests will be responsible for obtaining permits. When requesting a specific location we will do the research and let the guest know if the location requires a permit in order to host any type of picnic/event.
LATE ARRIVAL AND LEAVE EARLY:
Luxury Picnic Chicago holds the picnic for ONLY 25 minutes after the agreed booked time. We have the right to CANCEL the picnic if the guest does not arrive during our grace period. There will be NO REFUNDS or rescheduling in these circumstances. If the guest decides to leave before the time arranged. Guests will need to contact Luxury Picnic Chicago at least 30 minutes in advance to let us know about leaving early.
OTHER
We are allowed to update pricing and packages or make any changes on our website anytime. Pricing and packages are subject to change.
Luxury Picnic Chicago shall in no way be held responsible or accountable for any damage, injury, death or loss of income caused to the client, any third parties equipment or properties hired through Luxury Picnic Chicago.
